Danny Bryant’s
RedEyeBand
-
www.redeyeband.co.uk
The band
are a power house trio led by a guitar virtuoso [in the
real sense of the word] who has an amazing ability to
wring every last drop out of his guitar, and then a bit
more! Danny's singing perfectly compliments his guitar
playing, whether it be belting out a raw blues number,
or a more subtle rendition. Most people by now know
about the bond between
Walter Trout and Danny and they still remain
firm friends. They love to jam together and a few lucky
people have been able to witness this at some of
Walter’s concerts over the past three years, last year
the band played two gigs with Walter and his band in
Germany to sell out crowds who want them back again in
their own right.
Danny Bryant’s
Redeyeband were born in 1999, the line up comprised of
Danny Bryant – lead guitar/vocals/songwriter, Ken
Bryant, his father, played bass and Andy Burt drums. In
August 2004 Andy and the band decided to part company
and Dave Raeburn was welcomed aboard. Dave’s illustrious
career spans the past 25 years, he has toured with some
of the greatest names in blues/rock, including Buddy
Guy, B.B.King, Little Feat, Walter Trout and Status Quo
plus many more. In 1993 Dave was drummer for The Hoax
and following their demise, the Nimmo Brothers. A very
good pedigree to bring to Danny’s band! Ken’s solid bass
playing meshes perfectly with Dave to make a tight
driving rhythm section. |

Sinnerboy - A Tribute
to Rory Gallagher -
www.sinnerboy.co.uk
Sinnerboy are the top Rory Gallagher tribute band. For
Sinnerboy, keeping the music of Rory Gallagher alive and
live for people who love to hear it is all that matters
...and don't look for three guys on stage poncing about
in wigs trying to look like three other guys, what you
get with this band is all out passionate Rory Gallagher
music! Their repertoire numbers over forty songs (and
rising), with material from every stage of Rory's career
including his early days with Taste. Bullfrog Blues,
Walk On Hot Coals, Tattooed Lady, Shadow Play, Moonchild
and many more are the essential ingredients of every
Sinnerboy set. Sinnerboy are ever-presents at all the
major Rory festivals throughout the world and were Donal
Gallagher's choice of band for the first London festival
at Hammersmith.
"Barry gave a guitar
masterclass; his solos were never less than hypnotic
and, like Rory’s, were always in complete empathy with
the song, be it a head-banging rocker or sweet, soulful
blues. Someone requested “I Fall Apart” and, boy, was I
glad - I closed my eyes as I drifted off to the music -
it was the early 70’s; the Free Trade Hall, Manchester;
listening with spine-tingling excitement to Rory
Gallagher and his Band - I opened my eyes to see not
Rory but Sinnerboy! ..............“A Million Miles Away”
was played with such soul and passion that I had to bite
my lip to chase back the tears - was that Rory’s smiling
face I saw in the crowd?" |

Ry Cooder, is considered to be one of the top five finger
picking guitarists in the world
and performances
have taken him to prime time TV, festivals, Arts Centres and
theatres throughout the UK and on tour to Europe, USA,
Scandinavia and Greek Islands.
His mastery of
acoustic blues takes him beyond the usual boundaries of blues
festivals and clubs. He frequently plays at jazz and folk events
and at literature and poetry festivals and has even played the
blues at a classical music festival – on stage after the English
Symphony Orchestra.
Reviewers have
described his sound as: heart wrenching and passionate, delicate
and scorching, seriously brilliant, totally absorbing and
spellbindingly evocative with raw and fiery vocals to match.
‘…the
guitar playing is simply amazing, it expresses such emotion you
have to sit back in awe…’
R & B magazine
‘…impressive
slide guitar playing from West Country bluesman whose work bears
comparison with early Ry Cooder…’

Del Bromham
-
www.delbromham.co.uk
"In the late 60s the
first wave of heavy guitar idols were usually Jimmy
Page, Eric Clapton
and Jeff Beck. Bromham's past work should be
reappraised as he clearly slipped through the net."-
Encyclopedia of Popular Music - Copyright Muze UK
Ltd. 1989 - 2002
Del
Bromham began playing guitar at the age of eleven and
while still at school in West London he formed the band
"STRAY" in 1966. Del Bromham has now completed his first

The Rockin’ Armadillos
-
www.rockinarmadillos.com
|
In a world full of so-so blues bands, The Rockin
Armadillos' tough-rockin, funky style stands head and
shoulders above the run-of-the-mill. If you love
powerful, passionate guitar playing, the Armadillos have
it by the spadeful - courtesy of two of the hottest
young players in the whole of Europe.
And if the combination of a
gritty male vocal and a sweet, soulful country-tinged
female voice is to your liking, you'll find both these
here, too - with a generous side-order of wailing
harmonica and some down-and-dirty slide guitar thrown in
for good measure!Whether it's sinuous, funky up-tempo
numbers, toe-tapping Texas shuffles or soulful,
heartfelt slow blues tunes, the Armadillos are THE
band... |

Gary Fletcher
-
www.garyfletchermusic.co.uk
|
Gary was born in London
in the early ‘50s and is probably best known as the bass
player in The Blues Band, although
his songwriting talent is respected by many. The band’s
encore anthem, his song Green Stuff, has been a
constant in their live set since the Ready album
was released in 1980, and has been covered by bands
throughout Europe. The band’s latest (17th) album,
Stepping Out, features Gary’s song Stepping Out
On Main, another big winner with audiences.
Gary will play solo
acoustic featuring songs from his 'The
Official Gary Fletcher Bootleg Album' CD and Blues
Band favourites. |

Nine Below Zero
-
www.ninebelowzero.com
Dennis Greaves
heads up the band, playing guitar and singing better now
than at any time in his career, a legend in waiting
persona! Then there is the mighty rhythm section of
Gerry McAvoy and Brendan O'Neill blowing up a storm!
Gerry is a bass player's bass player, who spent 15 years
laying it down for Rory Gallagher as did Brendan on
drums for 10 years. Over this fat slice of rhythm, comes
the unique harmonica of Mark Feltham, since January 2001
Mark has been back playing with Nine Below Zero needless
to say anyone who knows the band will be aware of his
history, himself and Dennis being the founder members of
the band. Live, this combination is lethal, hammering
and nailing the big R n B sound to the floor of many a
famous stage. It is not unusual for the band to sell out
big clubs weeks up front.
"NBZ are brilliant live, they work so hard , the
audience often go home as exhausted as the band" so says
Andrew Zweck of top promoters Harvey Goldsmith Ents.
They have carved out a very credible niche, a place they
will be for a very long time to come, because, who else
is this good?.....this often? NBZ are the viable
alternative to Alternative, a band that most definately
come to play, a band with their own genuine sound and
deep understanding of their musical roots.
NBZ have a tireless spirit, no regrets, no excuses, no
crap. |
